But what does that buy us?   Congress made a ‘Contract with America’ in the 90’s that included term limits. What happened? When the time came to leave, most ignored the agreement. Frankly, having good politicians stay in office is necessarily a bad idea.   The problem is we only get the laws they decide to pursue.

A better idea is for us to get signatures to pass focused laws directly.
